Dare 2 Believe Ministries Deployment Update

When Pastor C.D. Lawhon arrived in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on the afternoon of Tuesday May 3rd, his experience became an asset for distributing products in a disaster area. C.D. knew that the 16-foot box truck, filled with goods, did not need to be stored. He knew that what he had transported for 550 miles was a “now use” product.

Upon his arrival, C.D. stated, “I had to begin assessing the need for the distribution of goods.” Pastor Marvin Cherry and the High Town Church of God enabled C.D. to be able deliver the goods into the hands of families, officials, and volunteer workers in the hot zone.

While he was distributing product, an employee from the local Health Department observed what C.D. was doing and informed him that the local Hispanic Community was being overlooked. C.D. and his helper drove over to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, where numerous Hispanic families were being housed. The truck had more than enough goods to provide assistance to all who were present.

From Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Tuscaloosa, C.D. drove 40 miles to Sawyerville, Alabama and turned the entire remaining product to the Volunteer Fire Department who will oversee its distribution.

To me, this has been an incredible deployment. Thank you to C.D. Lawhon and Dare 2 Believe Ministries for taking the initiative to make this possible.
