Our Leadership

Gary Burd, National Director

Gary Burd is driven by a commitment to reach “the least of these” (Matthew 25). Born to IPHC parents and ministers, Gary himself became minister at age 16. One day, God shattered his heart for the overlooked and oppressed in his community. He answered the call to Be a Light, Not a Mouth (BALNAM). For more than 25 years, Gary and the congregation at Christian Heritage Church in Amarillo, TX have led the charge for churches to get outside their four walls and serve their communities.

Gary and his wife, Carolyn, began serving at Christian Heritage Church in 1973. He was named Senior Pastor in 1986. In addition to pastoring, Gary served as Conference Bishop of the Great Plains Conference for over 20 years.

Today, Gary and Carolyn are full-time M25 leaders and IPHC missionaries to the U.S. They have logged over 560,000 miles on a motorcycle since 1999, flying their Christian “Colors” to open doors of service. Wherever they go, they endeavor to fulfill bringing God glory through their “good deeds” (Mt 5:16) by fulfilling the Great Commission of “Go Ye”!

Angel C. Alba
disciplerojo@yahoo.com

Angel grew up in the pentecostal / charismatic church movement and became part of the IPHC when he was in high school. In 2009, after years of running from his calling, Angel attended Biker Sunday in Amarillo, TX. Seeing a church get outside the four walls and impact their community led him back to the Lord, where he sold out to his calling. Since that time, he dedicated his life to serving “the least of these,” with a focus on the 1% biker community and discipling men. Angel and his wife, Mégan, live in South Carolina and have two sons.
