5th annual “Operation Bless a Family” Toy Run

On Saturday December 11th, Mission: M25’s “Hard Core” Bikers of The Life Center Church in St Pauls North Carolina partnered with Robeson County School officials to conduct our 5th annual Toy Run Christmas Outreach.  Participants gathered in the freezing rain to be Christmas star’s for several deserving family’s through-out Eastern North Carolina.  Despite the weather the bikers and other volunteers were determined to deliver hope, joy and most of all the Love of Christ by giving food, coats, hats, gloves and toys to families in our community.

This was the first of several outreach events this Christmas Season.  On December 18th we will conduct an outreach to feed the homeless of greater Fayetteville, NC, December 19th and 22nd Hard Core, The Life Center Church and Mission: M25 Ministries will provide Christmas for several more area residents and an entire housing development that provides a place of refuge for single mothers and their children.

We consider it an honor to be part of a ministry like Mission: M25 that believes in letting our light shine in a world with so much darkness.  Nothing can rival seeing the many smiles on the faces of those children as they see the bikes and open the presents given to them.  Also it does our heart good to see the relief on the faces of their parents as they see the food and witness the expressions of happiness on the faces of their children. Many hearts were moved and tears flowed freely amongst our volunteers.

Even though it was cold and rainy outside the hearts of everyone who participated in Operation Bless A Family Toy Run were warmed.  As the event came to an end there was a deep sense of peace and fulfillment from knowing that each of us had made CHRISTmas possible for some families that otherwise would have gone without.  To God be the glory!
