Mission:M25, an IPHC ministry with the EVUSA Division is embarking on a fifteen day outreach to our national heroes, our military. Run For The Wall (RFTW) begins in Los Angeles, CA and travels three routes across this nation to Washington DC. On May 25, 2014 RFTW will join with Rolling Thunder, an assembly of over 750,000 motorcycles on the Pentagon Parking riding in “Protest” formation to the Vietnam Wall to demand our government bring all of our POW/MIA’s (Prisoners Of War / Missing In Action) home.
M25 has been serving our nations military past and present using various methods in Washington DC on Memorial Day since 2004. This year they will be serving hydration on all three routes, Chaplains, Chase Teams and Emergency Riders. M25 is made up this year of twenty-three men and two women; of which six are pastors from six states. Our ministry style is “BALNAM” (Be A Light Not A Mouth), meaning, we serve in our various ways and only pray if we are asked. We are not on a ‘soul-winning’ campaign, but we are forever quick to give an answer for the faith that is with in us, 1 Peter 3:15. Upon arrival in DC, two Mission:M25 churches, Parkway Christian Center of Chesapeake, VA and Crossroads Church of Petersburg, VA will be serving food in two different campgrounds Friday through Sunday of Memorial Weekend to riders and guest.
Upon arrival today in California, there were so many hugs, thanks for M25’s serving, riders thanking the team and requesting prayer. One Chaplain stated, ‘I was on location less than 10 minutes before I was asked to pray’. One gentlemen came up to another Chaplain, hugged for an extended time, spoke of how he carries the two of them in a picture with him at all times. The ‘warrior’ from Vietnam had so much hatred and bitterness in his heart a few years ago when the two met that he was dying inside. Through prayer and constant service, the man shared how good it is to be free and said, ‘God is so good’.
