50CC Diaper Run – Essential

The year, 2020, will certainly be a year to remember, never have we been so locked down, living in fear or wisdom (depending on the individual) and seen things so chaotic! As we watch the reports of suicide (even among spiritual leadership), emotional instability causing call centers to report up to 1,000 times the normal calls, family abuse, children’s spiritual and educational future compromised, and everyone is cautious, we chose to deny the feelings of helplessness! We can DO SOMETHING!

So, we decided that as long as abortion clinics were essential, our voice for an alternative was essential! 

So, we proceeded, not knowing who would come to the rallies, who would donate or even who would take the added risk to ride across the USA. 

We ended up with a record year of diapers and baby wipes, 412,128, plus $25,096.85 in cash. 

This ride is about life, not just babies. God created life, designed life and is a life giving God. One of our desires was to make it more vertical than horizontal. Even the church, for the most part, places the pain and sin human. The Psalmist David gives us a glimpse into this level of sin in Psalms 51, ‘against thee and thee only have I sinned’. He has committed adultery, setup a murder, compromised his national leadership and yet, it is against thee and thee only have I sinned. We need a church revelation that this sin is against the sovereignty of God, against His creation and destruction of His image. Our repentance as a nation begins at this point. 

One of the things we desired was to expand the effort, not just ‘hold the fort’ in 2020. When we were asked if we would accept ‘depends’ for the elderly, we remembered, this ride is about life. So, we responded with a quick ‘yes’, then thought, how will they be utilized? Realizing the crisis we are in today, it was evident the Lord wanted to expand our efforts to elderly, being neglected and removed by our system. For His Glory!

These diapers and baby wipes and cash are going to the Royal Home Ministries in Falcon, NC. Where young ladies caught in a critical position can find security, Hope, direction and financial support rather than having the baby’s life snuffed out. 

As we know, the Royal Home cannot use this many diapers and baby wipes, so the good were dispersed to other pro-life agencies and homes; to the poor that cannot afford diapers and baby wipes; to the Native Americans living on two reservations and a ministry that is fighting sex trafficking. For His Glory!

Ten motorcycles and two trucks pulling trailers from Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, Oklahoma and California, sixteen men in all, left San Diego, CA and arrived in Conway, SC. 

The rallies were held in Memphis, TN; Oklahoma City, OK; Pampa, TX; Bakersfield, CA; San Diego, CA; Advance, NC and the final rally was held in Falcon, NC. 

What makes men, four in their 70’s, take a risk and sacrifice physically like this? One of the driving forces is anger – yes anger. Many do not realize that in John 11, Jesus standing in front of the tomb of Lazarus, the KJV says he ‘groaned’ before He wept. One of Strong’s definitions of “groan” is to ‘snort like a wild horse’. Can you see Jesus standing their ‘snorting like a wild horse’? He was ‘angry’ because of the grip of death Satan had on his friend. 

The church has prayed and stood at rallies since 1973, while over 63 million babies have been aborted on our soil. Can you hear the cry of innocent blood coming from our American soil? I think not, or we would be angry enough to risk, angry enough to be radical. Oh, how we believe positive things must be done in the face of evil today. If we take up violence, we will produce violence but if we will take up acts of radical, risky, costly love, as the King in Nineveh said, ‘Who can tell? Perhaps even yet God will change his mind and hold back his fierce anger from destroying us.” Jonah 3:9 (NLT)
